Sturminster Newton has become a Cittaslow town -

We are delighted to tell you that Stur’s application to join Cittaslow UK has been accepted.
Stur is the ninth town in the UK to join and the first in the south-west of England.

This is a real achievement for our town. But it is only the start. There is much work to be done and we hope that Cittaslow will provide the framework for all the wonderful community groups in Stur to work together to continue making Stur a lovely place in which to grow up, live, work and enjoy life.
